For customers

Your safety matters. KAZI checks every helper's ID and face, but we can't guarantee anyone's conduct. Lock away cash, jewellery and valuables. Pay only in KAZI — payments outside the app aren't protected. If something goes wrong, tap "Report a problem" within 24 hours.

For helpers

Your safety comes first. If you feel unsafe, leave and tap SOS — that is not a no-show. Don't accept payment outside KAZI. Take before and after photos; they protect you if anything is claimed.

What KAZI checks, and what it doesn't

"ID checked" means that, on the date shown, our team checked the helper's national ID (NIDA) number and age (18+), compared the ID photos with a video selfie, and approved the result.

It is not a criminal record check, a reference check or a skills test. "Police clearance checked" appears only when our team approved the helper's police clearance certificate. Only those helpers can offer childcare.

How the app protects you

SOS

On an active booking, tap SOS. It records your location in the booking, alerts the KAZI team straight away, and shows the police number. In an emergency, call 112 first. SOS does not call the police for you.

Good habits

Reporting a problem

Open the booking and tap "Report a problem". Choose what happened (for example: damage, theft, harassment, a safety concern, a payment asked outside the app), describe it and add photos. Report within 24 hours. The other person is told and can give their side, and our team aims to decide within 72 hours. See the Terms for how decisions are made, and the Code of Conduct for the rules.
